As a growing small business, Olathe Bookkeeping Services, LLC, is currently a one-woman operation. I have aspirations of growth, but at a sustainable rate. I never want to be in a position that takes away from my clients' individual experience. I offer a very personal experience, tailored to your individual business needs. I love what I do - so you can get back to loving what you do... it's why I'm here!
In addition to being a small business owner, I am a wife and proud mother of two. My hobbies include watching all of the kids' sports, riding my motorcycle, and reading books. When I am not busy with those hobbies, my favorite thing to do is cook - I am a true foodie.
I have been doing accounting and bookkeeping work since I was about 16 years old. I started out by doing the bookkeeping of my parent's small business. From there, I decided I wanted to become an accountant and pursued my degree. I have a degree in Accounting from Kansas State University, and graduated at the top of my class. Since graduation, I have worked in many different industries, such as oil & natural gas; medical device; RV manufacturing, warehousing, non-profit, and was even a franchise operator of 4 retail stores. I have been fortunate enough to work in businesses of all sizes, from family-owned businesses to multi-million dollar, global companies. I have experience in all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation, budgeting, reconciliations, and more.
